John Konefes
John has been the IWRC Director since its inception. He helps staff target new research and outreach projects that help small businesses.
Diane
Diane Albertson
As an Information Technology Specialist, Diane manages databases and coordinates computer software and hardware upgrades. She also provides data management for the Iowa Waste Exchange.
SueB
Sue Behrns
Sue has worked at the IWRC as a Waste Reduction Specialist since 1991, and is part of the IAEAP. She writes construction permits and conducts emissions inventory questionnaires. Sue also takes part in multimedia onsite visits and keeps current with changes and updates to the Storm Water regulations. In addition to those responsibilities, she has also developed templates that are used to assist clients in preparing a storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP).
Joe
Joe Bolick
Joe conducts training and research as well as presentations on the VirtualPaint™ painter training system and its benefits at military facilities throughout the U.S. Joe is now a Waste Reduction Specialist at the IWRC.
Jason
Jason Ebensberger
As an IT specialist at the IWRC, Jason is the Information Technology manager, develops Websites and assists with development of the VirtualPaint™ painter training system.
Jennifer
Jennifer Engelkes
Jennifer began working at the IWRC in February of 2007. She is working with the On-Site Review program and the IAEAP to assist small businesses in understanding and complying with air regulations.
Brian
Brian Gedlinske
Brian Gedlinske is an Environmental Specialist at the IWRC. Brian provides on-site technical assistance to Iowa businesses in regards to waste management, environmental compliance and surface finishing.
Tom
Tom Giblin
Tom has been a Research Technician at the IWRC Center since October of 2004. He helps conduct VirtualPaint™ painter training at the IWRC for military personnel from all over the United States. Tom also performs on-site visits at military bases to train painters in proper technique and to help reduce waste in the work place.
Greg
Greg Green
As a program assistant at the IWRC, Greg assists with the IWRC network, develops ColdFusion Websites, assists with development of the VirtualPaint™ painter training system and researches new technologies for programs within the IWRC. Recently, Greg has worked on developing the IWRC Website and the inventory tracking system used by the IWRC.
Glee
Glee Kidder
Directing office staff, maintaining the purchasing and accounting records, and working with the Small Business Compliance Alliance are all responsibilities of the IWRC's office manager, Glee Kidder.
Rick
Rick Klein
A native of the Cedar Valley, Rick is the Program Manager for the STAR for Defense US Air Force Painter Training Course Development and Demonstration project at the IWRC. He provides technical assistance to military facilities and conducts research and demonstration projects to assist DOD painting facilities.
ChrisL
Chris Lampe
Chris has been with the IWRC since December of 1999. As a Waste Reduction Specialist, he conducts on-site reviews and has led training sessions throughout the nation as a STAR4D® instructor.
Dan
Dan Nickey
Dan is Program Manager of the IAEAP at the IWRC. Dan has been with the IWRC since 1994. He conducts multi-media on-site reviews and provides small businesses with EIQ and air-permitting assistance.
Jim
Jim Olson
Jim manages the IWRC On-Site Review program and has been with the Center since 1988. He provides on-site technical assistance to Iowa small businesses, conducts research and demonstration projects and presents information at training programs and workshops. Jim was recently named Associate Director of the IWRC.
Julie
Julie Reinitz
Julie is the graphic artist for the IWRC. Designing annual reports, newsletters, brochures for various workshops and programs, as well as designing curriculum materials and manuals are all projects that keep her very busy.
Jeremiah
Jeremiah Treloar
Previously a STAR4D® program assistant, Jeremiah is now a Waste Reduction Specialist who has been with the IWRC since August of 2002. He recently became involved with the VirtualPaint™ painter training system, conducting training and developing a new standardized spray painter training program for the Air Force.
JohnW
John Whiting
John conducts applied research and performs site visits at military bases, assisting with training and providing second- step assistance. John has been with the IWRC since 1997.
Mark
Mark Williamson
Mark helps small businesses understand and comply with air regulations. He also performs on-site regulatory and pollution prevention audits. He recently developed the Paint© and Paint Plus© software.
