Spray Techniques Analysis and Research (STAR) Training Program - Community College

The STAR program focused on improving spray painting processes by providing pollution prevention initiatives to encourage more efficient coating operations within community colleges. Focused mainly within the auto body refinishing instructions, the program provided insight on the benefits of training to use the correct painting techniques.

Small Business Pollution Prevention Center (SBPPC) Projects

SBPPC was funded by the U.S. EPA and conducted applied research and educational outreach projects. The SBPPC worked with small businesses and technical assistance providers in Iowa, regionally and nationally.

New Environmental Technologies for Small Business (NETSB)

NETSB focused on how to bring new environmental technologies and small business together to attain measurable environmental and economic benefits. The goal for NETSB was to find environmental technologies that can be implemented at small business.

Small Business Compliance Alliance

The SBCA was a national partnership system providing regulatory assistance and information to small businesses in coordination with federal, state, and local agencies. The intent of SBCA was not to duplicate but rather disseminate confidential, regulatory assistance to small businesses.
