Testimonials

"You can simulate all of the actual painting operations without exposure to any of the solvents or hazardous wastes that are normally associated with it."

Mike Jund, Collision Repair Instructor, Scott Community College

"The VirtualPaint system allows us to instruct students on applying the correct mil thickness and application techniques. Using the VirtualPaint system does an amazing job of displaying deficiencies in paint applications. This allows painters to correct techniques without the use of PPE and mixing costly paints.

I cannot say enough about the VirtualPaint System and the assistance we received from Iowa Waste Reduction Center and Star4D. I would definitely recommend this system and your team anyone looking to improve their painter's skills and quality of paint applications."

Course Manager/Primary Instructor, Kansas Army National Guard

"The time we spent training a new painter prior to receiving the VR system was about 12 weeks. Now, with your system, we are training new painters in as little as 5 weeks and the experienced painters are relieved to have help coming into the booth that have all the basics and need very little assistance. The experienced painters have also been using the system to correct their own less desirable habits.

Our paint usage has been reduced since we do not have to actually spray paint while training the new painters. This means less total emitted VOC's. The training also results in less overspray and which also helps to lower VOC count. And since there is not any paint being sprayed during the training, there is no hazard present, which eliminates the need for PPE. As a trainer there is nothing better than being able to talk to a trainee without pulling them out of the booth to explain what they are doing incorrectly.

The Virtual Paint system has also allowed us to instruct the painters on mil thickness and how it applies to the coatings we use. With the system, they can see where their deficiencies are while they are spraying. This in turn gives them a higher transfer efficiency and a more even mil thickness on the final product.

We would gladly recommend this system to anyone looking to improve their painter's skill level or lower their emissions."
