Q: How is the IWRC affiliated with the University of Northern Iowa? 

A: At the College of Business Administration, a division called Business and Community Services (BCS) provides assistance to advance business, community, and entrepreneurial development throughout Iowa. The IWRC is one of the many programs housed within BCS.


Q: How much is an On-Site Review?  

A: The services provided by On-Site Review (OSR) and the Iowa Air Emissions Assistance Program (IAEAP) are from small businesses in Iowa which meet employee requirements. For an On-Site Review, the business must have less than 200 employees; for air assistance from IAEAP, businesses must have less than 100 employees.


Q: Is the Iowa Waste Exchange part of the IWRC?

A: No, IWE is not a program at the IWRC. The IWRC does work closely with IWE though in providing technical assistance along with database maintenance and coordination. 


Q: How long has the IWRC been providing spray painter training?

A: Through a variety of programs, the spray painter training has been provided since the early 1990's. IWRC's trainers have worked with small businesses and Fortune 500 companies alike within a wide array of industries including aerospace, defense, auto body, manufacturing, and woodworking.
